I think everyone can agree the worst thing about summer are mosquitos. Why can’t we get the beautiful weather without getting bit to death by these gross little vampire bugs?! Commercial bug sprays work sure, but smell absolutely horrible, plus were spraying ourselves with toxic chemicals. Lucky for us, mosquitos hate essential oils! Here is a recipe for an all-natural, essential oil based mosquito repellent.
Mosquito Repellent
- organic witch Hazel
-30 drops citronella essential oil
-30 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil
-20 drops lavender essential oil
-20 drops peppermint essential oil
-10 drops rosemary essential oil
Fill a spray bottle (4oz-8oz is recommended for this amount of essential oil) with witch hazel 3/4th’s of the way up. Add essential oils. Shake before using.
