Common Questions

Are there any prerequisites to a 200 hour yoga teacher training?

No. However, it is highly recommended that you have a regular practice already before beginning a teacher training.

Is there a test to pass for certification?

There will be both a short, written test as well as a practical exam. The written test is designed to evaluate where you will need more support and does not determine your certification. The practical exam will require you to teach a 30 minute, well rounded yoga class to a group or your fellow students.

How do the E-Learning modules work?

Each week you will be assigned a section to study. This can be done at your own time and is meant as a convenience throughout your week. When we meet on Fridays, we will go over the module together. Expect being asked randomly and frequently what was covered in that week's module, so preparation is fundamental.

What if I miss a day or two of the training?

Don't stress, make-up sessions will be available. The full attendance policy will be given day 1 of your training, but feel free to contact us with any questions in regards to missed sessions.

Are payment plans available?

Yes! Please contact us directly to discuss your payment plan, however paying in full does offer a discount.

I really want to do this training, but I can't afford it. Do you offer financial aid?

Unfortunately we do not, but we may be able to offer a discount as part of our Karma Yogi work exchange program. Please contact us directly for more information.
